Day Out at Burnby Hall Gardens

Sofia and I met up with an old work friend today at Burnby Hall Gardens in Pocklington, a market town about 8 miles from my house. It was a lovely afternoon with sunshine and clear skies. Sofia had a great time looking at fish, sitting in the grass, watching ducks and ducklings and then having half a banana while Pauline and I had a cup of tea. The water lilies were amazing as well as all of the roses and other flowers in bloom. Here are a few photos from our day:

Ha, Thanks! Well, of course I think she is the most adorable, but I am biased. I think it is her smile that does it. It lights up her whole face, such expression! And, her big blue eyes with long curly lashes must help, too. I hope she stays cute :)

Gorgeous Photos! Especially the lily, it looks almost like a fake flower you have captured it so well!!!! It's a funny thing how incredible nature can be!!!! and your little peanut looks like she was having a wonderful time too.
