This waterfall is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Iceland forming part of the Golden Circle Tour that many tourists do on a day trip from Reykjavik.
It was an amazing sight, but the wind was incredible that day. I had a hard time wheeling Sofia in the pushchair and keeping us both upright. It was a very quick stop and back to the shelter of the car.

One of Iceland's most famous waterfalls. It was a waypoint in the first leg of Amazing Race 6. The water drops 200 ft over a cliff on the former coastline.A few months ago we decided to go somewhere over the August Bank Holiday. There are still a few European countries that we haven't visited and wanted to go somewhere new. Since our frequent flier accounts are still bursting with miles, we booked an award ticket to Helsinki, Finland and home from Tallinn, Estonia with a connection in Prague. A short ferry ride connects Helsinki and Tallinn.
